Universal Pictures has released the first teaser for the trailer for the highly anticipated Shrek 5.
In the video, which was posted on YouTube, viewers saw familiar characters: Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Pinocchio. In addition, the teaser features Shrek and Fiona’s daughter for the first time, voiced by Hollywood star Zendaya.
In one of the shots, Donkey jokingly asks a magic mirror which of them is the most beautiful. In response, the mirror shows funny versions of Shrek, and Fiona and their daughter closely monitor the results.
Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but it is already known that Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey) and Cameron Diaz (Fiona) will return to their roles.
The premiere of the fifth part of the legendary cartoon is scheduled for July 1, 2026.
Earlier it was reported that the Universal studio presented the first full trailer for the film How to Train Your Dragon.
